How Epoxy Flooring Homestead Works
Epoxy Flooring Homestead coats concrete floors in Homestead, Florida City and the rest of South Miami-Dade. We do garages, lanais, patios and pool decks, interior slab rooms, and working floors in shops, warehouses, nurseries and packing rooms. We install epoxy, polyaspartic, flake and metallic systems, and we choose the system after we have read the slab.
Concrete down here has its own problems. The ground under a South Dade slab is porous limestone sitting on a shallow water table, so moisture can rise into the concrete during the wet season. Floors near an open garage door or out on a patio take hours of direct sun. Shops and farm buildings collect soil, fertilizer, oil and standing water. A coating that ignores any of that tends to blister, yellow or peel in the first couple of years.
What to expect from us
- We visit, measure the floor and take a moisture reading before we price anything.
- We note cracks, stains, old paint or sealer, and low spots where water sits.
- Your written quote names the system, the number of coats, the prep work and the total.
- Every floor is mechanically ground with diamond tooling so the coating bonds to clean, open concrete.
- Cracks and chipped joints are repaired before the first coat.
- We plan the work around humidity and dew point, and we tell you if a day's weather would hurt the cure.
- You get written times for walking on the floor, moving things back and parking.
We work on concrete only. We do not coat over tile, wood or vinyl. If a slab has an active leak, a structural crack or a drainage problem a coating cannot fix, we tell you before you pay for a floor.
